Jewellery Care

Ring Care

The following is intended to help you take care of your jewellery. The more you take care of your jewellery the longer you will be able to enjoy wearing it.

  • Diamonds are not indestructible. Although diamonds are the hardest known natural substance it is possible to damage them. Diamonds have a grain running through them and if a stone receives a knock on the correct angle from a hard object it will chip.
  • Don't wear your jewellery if you are doing rough work such as gardening, washing dishes or anything where it is possible that you may knock your diamonds.
  • Don't allow your jewellery to come into contact with chlorine bleach (found in many household cleaning products). The diamond will be fine but it won't do the setting much good.
  • Don't mix your jewellery in a drawer or case when not wearing them. Pack them individually so as not to allow one item to damage another.
